An Alternate Motherland

Greetings Readers

Okay, for this coming Amazing Race on Sunday. The team that I have chosen to lose (get eliminated) is the team of Oswald and Danny and my opponent has chosen Joe & Bill to lose. I really did not have a clue who to chose this time around. It is starting to get hard to predict. I think what is making me have a hard time to chose is that these teams are thinking differently since they all have played before and they sort of know how to proceed even those this is a new Amazing Race. I guess what I am saying is that Charla & Mirna came in first twice! Uchenna & Joyce came in last, but it was a non-elimination round. So, you see readers there are teams that are doing the unexpected. So wish the best for Danny and Oswald to lose.

Well, the weather is sunny, but I think that the temps is suppose to be in the 40's today. Not a bad ride this morning. Kind of cold, but I got warmed up after a mile and half.

Readers, I was surfing the net last night and I happened to visit Natalie Merchant's website, which I have not visit in such a long time. I was clicking around when I happened upon a section where she wrote something about the album/CD Motherland. Yes, we faithful listeners read the liner notes when the CD was issued and know how Natalie felt at the time. However, in the section I stumbled upon Natalie decided the time was right for to release and say what was planned for "Motherland" Wow. There are about 20 pictures and a brief written intro about Motherland. One may say this is something that she made up/thought up after the attacks in Manhattan, but it is not. The first three pictures of the proposed album/CD cover was wow. Well, it did affect me in a way. Not bad nor good, but on how close a relationship could be formed between this and the attack. More so to the bad, since any publicity relating to that could be bad, from the general public view, in my humble opinion.

Then, there were various other photos, same subject, but not very interesting. Sure, the subject matter of the photos were still the same, but could be taken differently than from the music of the CD.

I guess what is now "etched" in my memory now is the proposed cover picture of Motherland. I will never look at my Motherland CD/Poster without thinking of the other picture that is now all I can draw upon. And it is not the smiling face of Natalie Merchant sitting under/in front of an Apple tree. Sorry readers, I can not describe the picture nor do I want to. Obviously you can find this bit of information on her website www.nataliemerchant.com If you are a follower of Natalie please discover on your own, as it should be, when you want to find something about your favorite artist/musician.

The last bit of info on her website is that she is having another album released in April. the 16th I think.

This blog will most likely be the last for March and I want to thank you for reading another month of my blogging.

March Wonderland

Greetings People

Same as the last time readers - I need for you to be witnesses and also to blog so that my father knows that I did remember his birthday.

Happy Birthday

In the past 12 hours snow has been falling and there was quite a lot on the ground this morning. Oh you bet readers - I biked into work this morning, even though there was a slight hesitation on taking RTD. Then I thought of the $ 3.00 dollars that I would lose to public transportation. So, I got the bike out and got a rolling about 6:50 AM just because of all the snow. I say there was about six inches on the ground where I live. Though most of the snow on the concrete was melted.

The snow was slushy and I did get "slushed" a few times, but other than that I was okay on the ride in. Going home is going to be a different matter. My riding clothes are soaked and will not be dry by the time I get off work this evening. So, the hardest part tonight will be putting on the wet clothes. Urgh. Not looking forward to that.

Another new SouthPark episode last night. This episode was a lot better that last week's episode. Oh, that Cartman though.

I forgot to mention, not that anyone would care, but I bought two new pairs of Levi on Tuesday over at Park Meadows Mall. I needed a couple more of jeans to replace some that are starting to show through. Each were $ 29.99 and change, but I guess worth it since I can wear jeans to work every/any day I want. Woo hoo.

I guess I have one more thing to add. If any of you readers know what sort of bike caps I have on my tire valves... well then you should be able to figure out the type of earrings I bought the other day. Yes readers, earrings, but I only wear one. I bought them so I can match. I like my new ear rings.

Not watching, but in the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open - Roger Federer lost to the same opponent he lost his winning streak to. I do not know if the was luck since he done won against Federer twice in the past month. I know nothing more than that readers. I care, but I do not care that much to find out.

A March Morning Run

Greetings People

Well, today was the first day of the year that I ran to work this morning. It was a long 5.89 mile run. Actually it was not, but it took about 2 miles or so for me just to get into my "groove" I do not have a clue as to why that it took so long for me to "settle" down into a comfortable run. I finished at a time of 1:05. Not good, but okay for how the run started.

Any of you readers see the "Planet Earth" on Discovery Channel on Sunday? Wow. I was pretty impressed with most of the camera/video work. Being a retired professional photographer back in the day I really appreciated seeing some of the shots that were displayed. I could make a huge blog entry on the 3 episodes that aired Sunday, but I will only mention one, for now.

It was the shot of the Great White Shark literally jumping his whole body out of the ocean in the midst of attacking a seal. I never knew that a Great White could get such air, matter the fact, jump entirely out of the water like that. The film makers were able to use high speed film and when they were able to slow down the action. Wow. I guess I am always used to seeing a Great white thrust out of the Ocean perhaps the top half of their body, but never getting the whole body out of the water. If any of readers get the chance to see "Planet Earth" please make the time. Yes, it was stated that "Planet Earth" was 5 years in the making and that would not be the reason just to see it on that alone, but just the show itself is worth taking a look. I mean readers, can you believe that Pelicans will fly over the Himalayas Mountains as opposed to going around. Do you realize how high those Pelicans are? And they are not just getting over the Mountain - they have to worry about the winds and the Golden Eagles that attack in pairs.

The Riches - Monday's episode was very good. The story revolved around getting the kids into school and Doug firing the person he replaced. Yes, I am still enjoying the show and loving the characters of Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard (who is the first time I ever seen him act, I think) There is a sort of funny backstory on how I did not considered watching this show at all. Months back when FX was doing the commericals for the show there was Eddie shucking an oyster, talking to the camera, and then pulls out a black pearl from his mouth, I think. If I remember Eddie was talking/acting like a rich person would and at that moment I had decided that this is a show that I would not be seeing. Fortunately, I used one of my 100 spool DVD's and recorded the show. I did not watch the show until a week later, but I was very impressed and I am glad I gave the show a chance. However, I just did not decide. I had heard some good reviews from credible sources, I think, and thought I had better give the show a shot and determine if it is good as those people say. I am not saying that I am even close to them in life, but I felt, er feel, their "life" and it appears to be rough.

Oh, the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open Sharapova got the "ova" beat out of her by the same person who took her down in the finals of the 2007 Australian Open. Boo yah! This was even worse 6-1, 6-1. Sorry readers I did not see the match, but read about this story this morning.

Tuesday with Mr Charley

Greetings People

I saw, perhaps, my new bike that I might buy this week. After seeing the price, plus the sales tax for that area, I have calculated the cost to be $ 1,386.03 It really is not a bad deal for last year's model. The new models are on the way and they need to clear out the "old" stock. She is black, some carbon, Ultegra componets, Easton rims. I guess I have a lot to think about.

I finally bought a CD by Wagner with "Ride of the Valkyeres" Pretty Cool

Prison Break was okay. Not bad, but not very interesting. Although there is Michael in Panama and he is standing outside the hotel where "Teddy" is staying. He is trying to be inconspicuous by hiding behind a pillar or plant (I can not remember) and he is wearing a dark blue hoodie. Get the f--- out of here! He is Panama, which I am sure that the weather is quite warm. Also, in the scene of the show - there are people in pastels, whites, shorts, "cabana" wear and then you have Michael in a dark blue hoodie with only his face showing trying to be inconspicuous. Sorry the scene just does not work. Hah hah.

Woo-hoo! Yes, I won the Amazing Race bet and my team I chose to lose lost! Woo hoo! That was so great. I won my coke back (I lost weeks ago). Sure was delicious to drink. You know readers a free coke tastes much better than a coke you bought.

The name of the bull that I named is "Say Boo-yah!" Not too good, but at least I stayed away from using any weather words, alcohol words, including "slinger" in the name, or having any color reference in the name. There were some fictitious names I would would liked to use, but I am not sure that would infringe upon copyrighted material.

I did not get to see Lily this morning - nope, not not on the episode this morning.

Naming the Versus Bull

Greetings People

I guess I am making a quick entry since I had to log in on the net to name the bull. The naming of the bull is the "versus bull" that the program has the viewers name their bull with a name. Anyway, I have been thinking about this for about a month and I just could not think of a name that someone else would come up with. I thought about one word name up to three word name. So, here I am on the day of the deadline (for submission) and I still can not come up with a decent (unique) name. So, the name that I chose... well I guess I better tell you readers tomorrow. Just in case my name gets tossed for duplication. You never know readers I could have the name and could be disqualified for whatever reason. I trust my faithful readers, but not the "others" who may stumble upon my blog. The prize is two tickets to Las Vegas for the PBR 2007 World Finals.

So, while I was still contemplating I decided to look up a name that I see a woman on a show every morning before I leave for work. The show is Namasta on Fit tv and I just want to see what "Google" has. Yes, that is a picture of her - Lily Goncalves - and I have to say something about her just catches my eye. Of course, one of the things is that she is blonde. I also like her smile and eyes when she does smile on the show.

Readers - I have Terry and Ian as the couple to be eliminated from the Amazing Race. I have a "coca cola" riding on the outcome. Of course, if the "Beauty Queens" get eliminated I am out of a "sprite". Hah hah.

I had my first breakfast of the year outside on my patio this morning. What a beautiful morning after Saturday's rain that fell almost all day. About 6 PM last evening the sun finally made an appearance and what a nice evening to see the sun shining ever so brightly for those final minutes of the day.

Hope you readers are having a nice Sunday. I know that I am

P.S. Readers - I read that the 2007 Sony Ericsson Open has third round action, but not on tv. Apparently, today there is Sharapova vs Venus Williams match. Could be interesting, but I am unable to watch on tv.

A mis-mash of Information

Greetings People

What a beautiful morning to be living. Some days I wake up to tackle the world and there is nothing in the world that is going to stop or topple me from my pedistal.

I had grilled, BBQ, more chicken last night. Pretty nice dinner once more. No "other" fragrance was smelled.

I had stopped at the 7-11 this morning to get my Litre of Coke and who do I see staring at me from the magazine rack? A fat little child in a red shirt, blue gloves and hat and would say "You just got F'd in the A"? Come on readers. Yep - Cartman! To see him on the front of the magazine this morning was just the icing on top of the cake. I was smiling ear to ear and now I am going to have to buy the magazine later tonight. I also saw the words 10 years. Has it been that long? I mean Cartman came into my life about two or three years ago and since that time I can not let him go. His voice even got into my head when I left 7-11. It was his infamous song that starts out "Kyle mom's is a..." well, I could not get that jingle out of my head this morning and even now while I blogging I can heard him singing the version from the Southpark Movie.

So, as you can see readers, I have a smile and in a good mood for whatever reason. The sun was shining in and out of the clouds this morning. Apparently there is storm moving in and the sun will disappear for a day or so. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and I guess that means that I will be staying in the house. No big deal. The abode needs to be cleaned up and I have nothing else really to do.

I did not mention this yesterday, but guess who I saw on Channel 4 news yesterday morning? She was from Fox News 31. Did the weather. Starts with a "S". Okay - Stacey Donaldson. I was sort of surprised to see her. I guess she got a good offer from Channel 4 to switch to them. Unless she was "tired" of Fox news.

Speaking of which. I was watching Fox news this morning and there was this story about a Hummer that was "torched" by an someone who left the initials ELF in the Cherry Creek area. Now, Steve, the anchor on Fox news says that the initials stand for Earth Liberation Front (or something another to that effect) and then he talk a bit more then wraps up the story about the Police are investigating the fire and have not made any connection (or something to that effect) to the ELF. So readers, how bias is Steve indicating on his own, that the Earth Liberation Front is responsible for the fire when the Police do not know, according to Steve's reporting, that the Police do not know if "ELF" did the torching or not. That is assuming in Steve's part and could be slanderous. For all we know readers "ELF" could be an "Edward Lynn Frank" and could be pissed off at the Hummer (or the owner) for whatever reason and decided to torch the Hummer. Whatever happen to telling the news straight and not "bending" the news.

I guess with that I am going to bid a fond adeiu

Ga-Ga on the Patio

Greetings People

There are a couple of fragrances that just drive me wild. Or makes my heart go thump-de-thump. You kind of get the idea.

With saying that. Yesterday evening I had made up my mind to have chicken for dinner. More importantly, I wanted to have grilled BBQ chicken. Once I get stuck on something I want - I got to have. Almost did not happen last night. I had forgotten my wallet at work and all I had on me was some change in the side pocket of my biking pack. Whew! Luckily I had enough to buy at least one package of four thighs.

I got home, started the grill with Charcoal and got ready to cook. Hour and a half later I was finishing up and then I smelled this other smell out on my patio. The smell was a woman's fragrance that I just absolutely love. Anyway, I sniffed & sniffed and I could not locate where the smell was coming from. I know that my downstairs neighbor is a woman and I know that she had been hearing my door probably open and close when I was going out to the patio to cook. Also, I got a new next door neighbor and I not sure if the smell was coming from their window by my patio. However, there I was sniffing my dinner and also sniffing for the fragrance. Whether or not they knew they got my attention I was sniffing for that smell and my dinner at the same time. How stupid is that. hah hah. I enjoyed the last five minutes of cooking with both of those smells. Someone definitely caught my attention.

I know that is an irrelevant blog paragraph, but thought to mention that since I am sharing to you readers my thoughts and daily adventures. Nope, sorry woman readers, I am not going to tell you what specific fragrances that I love. Knowing you women, you would come over and take advantage of me at one of my weakest moments. Perhaps I would not mind, but that would defeat the purpose of winning my "cold hearted" heart.

The "other" people I know

Greetings People

I decided to stop by my Chick-fil-A last night since I was out of sweet tea and the evening was sort of nice to ride home in so I was in no hurry to go straight home.

Anyway, there was a young guy at the counter and he looks at me and says questionably "Sweet Tea?" I said "yes please". I immediately felt really good about the evening already. I once again have to admit that I was pleased about this and also this little thing was something I needed to cap off a day. I then saw my regular man at this Chick-fil-A sitting at one of the tables nearby. I appeared that he was on a break. So, before I sat down with him I made sure it was alright for me to sit with him. He indicated - no problem.

We chatted for about five minutes or so. Again, I was in no hurry and we just learned more about each other. He has been working at two Chick-fil-A's for the past five years. He has been seeing a woman for about 4 fours years. He asked where I worked, if I was single, do I bike a lot? It was a nice talk learning a bit more about this guy I do not know really. I have been stopping in every four days or so, which I was not even aware of.

This morning I decided to bike in another route to work. This way is shorter, but also from last year I noticed that there is a "homeless" man living on this side of town that I saw every morning. Anyway, I do not know why I thought of him this morning, but I decided to ride by to see if he is still hanging around. It has been a cold, heavy winter and I do not think he has hung around this part of town. Hopefully, he has migrated to one of the homeless shelters.

I did not see him nor did I see all his "stuff" at the place that he is at usually. I am sorry readers that I can not tell you the location. It is not your business nor concern about this guy. If someone complains/call the police on him - so be it, but I am not going to divulge the location of this guy in case anyone may stumble across the blog and decide to do something to him or against him for whatever reason.

I have given him change on occasion or nod my head in the morning to him indicating hello. Otherwise, I did check on him, from a distance, every morning that I did ride by his "area" to see if everything was okay or if he made it through a cold, cold night. Granted, there is nothing that I could have done, but in my view I see that watching out for him does give me something to be grateful for.

Before I forget, last Friday when I got out of work early I decided to stop by Qdoba's and see if anyone I know was there. Yes, I was looking for my Qdoba girl. I saw my other Qdoba girl, but not the one that I like. She said long time no see and I of course said hello, how are you? We chatted a bit, but let's be honest readers, I wanted to know if my other Qdoba girl was still working. I got a name - Debbie, but I am not sure if that is the same person. I did not want to upset this girl just in case she offended that I like the other girl and not her. Which I think she is under the impression that I also like her, but she is not my type. However, since I do visit here I do not want to rock the boat with any unnecessary conflict(s). LOL. She then said the other girl quit. Could that have been the girl I liked? I do not know - so guess what readers? I am going to have to go to Qdoba's on my lunch break to see if she is working the lunch shift.

2007 Spring Vernal Equinox - 6:07 PM

Greetings Readers

I thought about calling this blog "Respect in Lonetree", but alas I decided to go with something a little less "Stuck up"

In the past, before the big winter storms hit back to back to back, I have a couple of stops that I make in the morning while going to work. Usually their deal and/or prices are better than buying at work from the vending machine.

So, I headed into the local 7-11 got my litre of Coca-Cola and headed to the counter. I could not help noticing the girl that I know. Well, loosely know. I know of her and she knows of me but only in my previous morning stops from last year. I headed to her register and got checked out by her. No readers I do not mean "checked out", but ringed up at the register. She said "Gosh I have not seen you in a long time" I said "yeah because of the ice and snow that I have not been biking" She laughed lightly and smiled at me. I of course smiled right back. Of course readers, I smiled for all it was worth. Why? Well - recognition baby! As you can see I have a positive effect on people and not always the negative effect nor do I always get the "oh shit. Not this guy again." LOL. I do "touch" people in some ways that are positive and when I can bring a smile to their face or at least get them to talk more than just a customer. Well, that's a bonus for both of us. No, that does not mean I want to sleep with her. Or any of other women I know at different places. Although there is this one King Soopers employee that I know, and trying to get to know, but I still can not get the "read" on her. I digress once more.

Have you readers seen that new show that just started on FX? "The Riches" with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. I think it is a pretty interesting show so far. Only two episodes have been shown, but I think that the show's concept is good. The concept is believable to a certain extent. Yet, while watching the show I was actually thinking about the possible questions I would raise as the show goes further into its run. Again I was already analyzing the show. Yet what has intrigued me is the "problems" that the family has or yet to come. Whether to them personally or someone else. The picture in this blog entry is of "the house". P.S - there is a character from the other FX Show - It Always sunny in Philadelphia - that has shown up in episode 2 of the Riches.

Prison Break was a dud - I understand the "need" for all the cast members in the show to perhaps get together, but it does not make sense. I mean for almost 7/8 of the season all these cast members (who are still alive) have had their own plot lines and may have intertwined with some of the others, but largely have kept apart. Then, Michael getting all emotional about Sarah - I mean "come on". Then Michael saying there is only one thing to do "Run". Again - "Come on" - they have been running since the first season's last episode. Anyway, two episodes left.
Sorry readers about the "Come on", but if you true SP fans know why I quoted this then you know why it so fit this paragraph. And this is not the L Hewitt's "Come on!" quote.

Spring is so close and you can see the green starting to come up from the ground. I do not think the green will sprout from the trees soon, but I am thinking about two weeks for the first wave.

I just found out that NIP / TUCK is coming back for a fifth season. Woo Hoo! What would I do without McNamera / Troy? Well, nothing. But these "plastic surgeons" have made me care about them even though they are just TV characters.

849 Song capacity reached

Greetings People

So, there I was in Washington Park on Sunday morning at 9:20 AM wondering where all the runners were. According to my calender the event that was scheduled for yesterday was The Orphans of Violence 5k at 9:30 AM. A beautiful morning, but I did not see the runners that should be there - there. Perplexed, but by no means confused. Oh well, I said. After about five minutes of just wondering and also sightseeing I decided to ride down to Colorado Blvd.

On Saturday I have officially "filled up" my Pink 4GB Ipod. I could not believe it. I ran out of room and I had not even reached some the artist that I wanted to put on the Ipod. So, now I have to decide what songs must be deleted from the pink Ipod in order to load my songs that I want to load onto my pink Ipod.

I saw the movie "300" on Sunday. There was only five of us in the theatre in the first showing of the movie. At least it was quiet and empty for me. Overall, the movie was good and I did enjoy the movie. Yet, something was not right and for me that was knowing something about the film and how it was shot. So when I entered and saw the movie I sort of had a clue what I was looking, or not not looking at, depending on your view. Some scenes had alot of special effects, but not as many as the latest Star Wars movies, which made it nice since you are not over-whelmed and try to take in as much as you can before the next scene.

I liked the previews though! Spiderman 3 (and I am not even a true fan), Live Strong and Die Hard (A big John McClaine fan) and some others which look okay.

I cleaned four of my road bikes this weekend. Got them tuned up, tires pumped, clean frame, and the wheels trued.

The Southpark bike jersey got some "wearing" time and I got compliments at Target, Office Max, the Movie Theatre and grocery store. I guess I am going to have to wear this jersey again this year.

Alright I have nothing else to say

Twenty-Five Extra Pounds

Greetings People

Accountabilabuddy. Is that even a legit word? Does not matter. If Southpark uses the word then we must take the word as gospel. Why? Well, if certain dictionary(ies) recognize "D'oh" from the Simpsons then they can recognize another word from another cartoon.

The episode from last night was pretty good. I laughed and laughed and that was able to end my evening on a pretty good note. I am not sure what to tell and not to tell. I liked the concept of the episode. It was all about Cartman and another adventure of his "messed up" life. Even though they did not show the entire "subject" a partial was just a close to making Southpark Funny. Where I was laughing was when Butter's new roommate was quoting off here and there. His voice was louder than a whisper, but lower than normal talking. He was not quoting to anyone, but to himself with his head bowed to the floor. Writing about what I was laughing about does not do it justice, but I do like the visual look of the quoting.

The weather is definitely cooler today, the ride into work this morning was cool. Also, I am back in the long leg bike pants.

I had to work very, very late last night and did not get out until 9 or so. Anyway, not tired or angry or nothing, but I felt like another stop at Chick-fil-A was in order. I saw "my man" and I asked if there was any Sweet Tea left. He said not enough for a gallon. I said no prob.... I did not even get to finish to my sentence. He said for you I will make you some fresh Sweet Tea. Give me five minutes." I said "don't worry about it..." He said "not a problem"

I am not going to say that was respect in my conceited view. I felt very honored for him to do this for me. Touched, if you will readers. I really did not want him for him to do this for me. I would of been happy with just "regular" tea.

All in all, I was happy for this service and I was happy to drink my fresh "Sweet" tea while watching SouthPark. Sounds unusal, but hey tis the little things in life that makes us happy.

That was the cap to a nice, warm, night ride home.

About two weeks until my Dad's birthday. I got to think of something to get for him. And my mother since she would feel left out.

Oops, almost forgot - the 25 extra pounds was that I carried that much more weight on my bike the other day. So, basically I had 175 pounds on my bike. Damn, I was heavy and going uphill was difficult with the extra weight. I had to put some extra umph into my pedals in order to make it up some of the hills. I felt sorry for the new tires on my bike.

Spring Uneasiness, I think

Greetings Readers

I woke up early this morning and was ready to go. Where? I do not know, but I was ready to take on the world or anyone who dared to challenge me this morning. I am sure I am not the only one who gets this way every now and then.

I worked out, cleaned up, called the parents and all this was done before 6 AM. I left the house with the world still in the dark. There was a faint glow on the horizon, but dark. The air was warm, I think about 48 degress, no wind and I only wore my bike shorts for the first time this year. Usually, I have to wear long leg bike pants. But, not this morning.

I have been eating and staring at this blog for the past five minutes and I guess I have nothing to say or write about.

Here are my results for the running of the green this past Sunday. Not too bad for starting at the back of the pack and weaving among all the people to get ahead of them all. =)

with that I will let you readers go

"Extra" Sales Tax in Lonetree

Greetings People

The thighs were a "bit" tight when I woke this morning. I was able to walk the "tightness" out this morning and the bike ride into work was good. Pretty nice morning, hardly any wind blowing, and the sun was just coming up over the horizon.

Nothing to report or to blog today. There is some news, but nothing I want to comment about nor bring to light.

Amazing Race - The team that I wanted to be eliminated - was Eliminated on Sunday. Woo Hoo!

No Prison Break until next Monday

Roger Federer lost a tennis match which has broken his string of win events somehow. Sorry readers, I do not know how/what/really about what was broken, since I could care less. I read the info in yesterday's news. I did read that Hingis advanced to the next round.

Target in Lonetree, CO. Well, I am not sure how much you readers, consumers pay attention to sales tax, but I for one do not want to pay any more sales tax than I have to! Yes, I look at those receipts and ask questions. I will try and pay the lowest taxes, if possible. However, in the instance yesterday I needed something from the Lonetree Target that I could not get at the Englewood Target. Therefore, I had to succumb to pay the extra tax that is assessed. Granted, the purchase was only around $ 10.00, but if you were to purchase a higher amount the tax will be higher. I work in Lonetree, but by no means am I going to help pay for something that will not benefit me. Damn straight I can think that way. I think Denver is the worst in taxes is what I heard at one time. Getting back to Lonetree - I think the "extra" tax is 7 percent. Again, I was bitter about paying the extra tax on the item I needed, but had to. I knew about the tax, but did not want to remind myself about the "extra" tax so I did not look at the receipt.

Anyway, thought to blog about that readers since I really have nothing to write about. I guess you can say nothing has pissed me off nor do I have anything to be happy about currently.

Runnin' of the Green 7k - (The Story)

Greetings People

Yesterday was the almost perfect day for the 19th Annual Runnin' of the Green in Downtown, Denver.

I arrived early, about 9:20 and got registered and my T-shirt all within 10 minutes. Yes, I paid $ 5.00 more for registering on Race day, but no big deal. At least I got a T-shirt, unlike the folks at Run the Register, where I did not get a T-shirt. Unless I donated $ 47.00 more dollars on top of the $ 35.00 registration fee. I hate to say this, but at least VOA (Volunteers of America) are not stuck up as the ALA (American Lung Association) association. Gosh Darn. Well, my $ 30.00 registration fee and post drinking money was well under $ 50.00 yesterday. Oh, having Guinness Drafts on the patio with the sun shining ever so brightly - one could not ask for more.

I did okay in the event. I started about 4 to 5 minutes after the start time officially started. Yep, it took me about 4 minutes or so to actually reach the starting line and start running. Then, it was a battle with dog walkers, baby strollers and about 5,000 plus people in the Runnin' of the Green. I was weaving and bobbing through the throngs of runners. Nothing new for me since I knew that this event is always crowded. I always have to allow for the mass exodus of people at the starting line and through out the race of the 7k. I did okay. I think that the time that was given to me was 40:?? from the official starting of the 7k and 36:?? for the actual time that was given for me from start to finish (timing mat time).

Well, I once again decided to wear my Southpark bike jersey. Let me tell you folks. People just love this jersey. So many of the runners had not even seen this jersey before and the comments were non-stop. Okay readers, I do have to confess. I knew that there was going to be a lot of runners and I had already decided to wear the SouthPark Jersey the night before so I would get attention I wanted. What is even worse readers, I decided to start at the back of the pack in the Runnin' of the Green so that way when I started running like a mad man making myself run through the packs of runners they would see the back of my bike jersey and read "Oh man, you guys suck!" We'll not even 25 yards into the race - I got the laughter and "that is so cool" remarks. Oh that so much made me run even harder through the crowds.

Not much else to say between the start and finish line. I was weaving in and out of people, getting the laughs, the comments, and enjoying myself in this 7k. Well, coming down off the corner Wazoo and 14th, I think, is when I decided to put the "burn" in my legs and go for broke. As I rounded the final corner and saw the finish line two and half blocks away, that was when I ran like the wind. Or in a better comparison, I was running like the T1000 was doing in the parking garage of the movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day. I saw no one in the distance what I was doing, so that was good. I did not look behind me. Wish I could of seen their faces and astonishment when they saw me take off down the street. I passed about 40 more runners in the final homestretch and that was that.

The comment that rings a bell in my mind was I standing in the middle of the street, outside the McCormick Bar & Restaurant and I heard "Yes, I do suck" Hah hah. I guess I made her look pretty bad and she admitted that to me. We just smiled. The post-party was good, I even got a few comments as I was sitting against one of the Downtown buildings. "I just love your jersey" and I offered to show them the back of the jersey, but oh no, they smiled and laughed and said "yes we already know that we suck" And we just laughed.

So, readers the event was good and I really enjoyed getting the attention that I wanted. And yes readers, the attention was about what I expected. I got a few pictures taken downtown, but again I used my disposable camera so they will not be ready until I turn in the camera to be developed.

Today, my thighs hurt. I mean really hurt. Well, let me say tender, I am okay sitting down, but once I start walking the soreness is there in the thighs. Tis the lactic acid residue that I exerted yesterday. The sprint yesterday was worth today's unpleasantness in my thighs. LOL. Oh, I also got a nice "burn" from yesterday's sun. I guess the sun and spring is here - just about.

On the Eve of early DST

Greetings People

Not much I am going to say, but I got my bucket of KFC, but not without some drama. Tires, tires and tires. You know I am back on the bike and not even a week I am getting flats and flats every day.

So, before the KFC stop last night I decided to go to the bike store and purchase some new tires. Well, there was a deal in the store. Half price on tires that looked ok, but more importantly - these tires will match the color of my other bike - gray. Woo Hoo. Always a bonus. Yep readers, I have put the winter bike in storage for now and will use only when the weather is not going to be sunny and clear. I just have to be extra careful with my rims since Centennial has potholes and potholes everywhere. I can not damage my good rims. I think I might have to purchase some new rims just for the occasion. I would rather "trash" a $ 100.00 rim than my more expensive rims. I also picked up three more tubes and three more cycling caps.

It felt so weird taking out "Tracy" this morning. She was purring and ready to put some miles on this beautiful morning. She glides across the road and let me tell her new color of gray does not do her justice. She is fucking beautiful!

Okay, well that is all I am going to blog about for now, well perhaps for the weekend. I just wanted to tell the world readers that I am really happy to be back on my road bikes after being so long off them. Not torture, but just my version of "cabin fever".

I have the "Runnin of the Green 7k" in Denver tomorrow. I am looking forward to that - the day is suppose to be a pretty day and it is going to be an excellent day for drinking downtown after the race.

Until the next time

694 MB left...

Greetings People

That is how much space I have left in my Pink 4GB Ipod. It has been only since Sunday that I started with loading information onto the Ipod. All songs are from my personal collection - not one downloaded song was purchased. And I have not even made a dent in my collection on what I want to store onto my Pink Ipod.

I am trying to find some major faults with being a current Ipod owner, but I can not. There are some good things about the Ipod that I have discovered on my own.

Can you readers believe that I have not used my "Ben Franklin" sport CD player that I has been my constant companion for the past three years. Sad thing is that this CD has been close to me than any woman has been to me in the past three years. I guess that shows you readers where my priorities are. Readers, do not get me wrong - I am no monk and yes I do need a little something-something every now and then. Not a true booty call, per se, but very close looking for some booty. If she is unavailable then I have to go out on the "hunt". hah hah. I digress from the story....

So, almost a week without using my CD player. I do miss the weight of the CD player against my leg or body when I am riding or running. Perhaps I should give the Pink Ipod a rest and take out my CD player this Sunday.

Daylight Savings Time is this weekend. Nothing plus or minus for me, but I will welcome the time change.

I have this unbelievable urge for the Colonel's Chicken. So readers I am getting a bucket of chicken - mix of Extra Crispy and Original, with Mashed potatoes and gravy and then some biscuits. So, any of my lady friends want KFC for dinner you know where there is going to be a bucket of chicken tonight. I might even have to buy some beer... Except what kind of beer goes with KFC's chicken? I am going to have to think about that.

My bike rider that I have followed through out the years has retired from Cycling - Jan Ullrich.

That is a picture of him and he had many different titles besides not being known as Jan Ullrich. The name I remember and sort of refer to myself, but without the "German", is "The German Machine" I modeled my training in the past years from him. I train in the big gears. No readers, I do not think I have done damage to my knees that I have not already in the past 11 years. I love pedaling in the big ring gear. Even a few people that know me know that I ride in the big ring, which these people remember. Few people can handle long periods in the big ring, but I can do, but that did not happen overnight. It took practice and more practice. Funny thing is that on all of the nine road bikes I have, which eight of them are triple ring gears, there is definite wear on the "teeth" of the big ring gear. The "teeth" are worn down to dull, round points. If you look at the middle ring there is some sharp teeth points and some not so sharp points and then in the small ring the "teeth" are still brand new. I hardly ever, ever use the third ring, or commonly known as the "granny gear", but it is nice to know it is there to use.

There are many reasons why I have always chosen to purchase a three ring bike. I do alot of Mountain Climbing (Vail Pass, Fremont Pass, Devil's Gulch, etc) and there are times when I need the last ring available to get to the top of the pass. That "extra" gear has helped when I am in the mountains. I know of the two ring bike, but I am not interested. Nothing good or bad for me, but to some people it does matter. Also, whether these people talk about my "granny gear" to me, I could care less. Not going to hurt my feelings, People I wear clothing that is controversial sometimes, I have things on my "touring" helmet, I am a saractic son of a bitch on a bike, I have Bandannas wrapped as bike tape on my handlebars, I have two, sometimes three bike odometers on my bike. Nothing that you say about my "granny" gear is going to affect me. Arrogant? No, that is confidence. I make myself stand out from other bike riders. I want people to recognize me.

I guess I do not have anything else to blog about so...

Back in the saddle again

Greetings People

As the title would sort of convey - I am back on the "winter" road bike this week. And, I no longer have to spend money to use public transportation (RTD). Woo Hoo! Let me tell you readers I am so glad I do not have to spend the money that I do not want to. Yes, the mornings are cold, but the cold sure beats the 1.50 one way ride to work ($3.00 dollars a day)

I am dressed in my bike attire - the signature ZZ Top Bandanna on my head, got the new Oakleys that I bought last week, I have the full skin tight bike pants on and a light windbreaker. I am back baby and so is my attitude.

I am already starting to be myself once more on the bike. This morning, there was this lady who did not have her dog leashed up and the dog was running all over the bike path in front of her about 10 to 20 yards. Well, the dog got in my way and I had to brake. Oh yes readers, this fucking pissed me off. But not with an exclamation mark. The moment just pissed me off to entice me to get me pissed off, just for the sakes of it.

Do not get me wrong I love dogs since I am a former dog owner, but if you can not leash your dog or control your dog then you are shit in my book. Well, after I braked and then started to pedal up to speed again I had met the lady. I hear her mumble, since I have my Pink Ipod blaring Dance music and can only hear mutely the world around me. When I got real close, I heard something, something and "about my dog." I immediately said "fuck your dog". I did not yelled or shout, but calmly said that to her. I am sure she was not expecting that response from me, nor anyone else, but I could not tell since I did not turn around to look after I passed her. I said my peace. Should this happen tomorrow there is gonna be a "throwdown" in my hood. One of us is going to be covered in my "Pink" supplement drink and it will not be me, my friends.

You see readers, I am almost back to myself after being cooped up in the house for eight weeks.

New Southpark last night. It was funny, but not real funny. Overall, I enjoyed the episode.

Dogs "stolen"

Greetings People

I was thinking about the dogs that were "stolen" back in January from a family that were showing/using the dogs (Border Collies) in the National Western Stock Show here in Denver, Colorado. Anyway, there was a big hoopla and the dogs were "stolen" from a hotel along with their truck. I am not sure how I thought, remembered, about this, but does not matter. Last night, I did the research on this old news from www.rockymountainnews.com I found three articles regarding the subject. The first was the initial story about the dogs "stolen". Then, the other two articles were the day after the "stolen" dogs were recovered along with the truck somewhere else (basically the same story)

When I first heard this story back in January I was kind of irked at FOX31 TV and the newspaper for not reporting the true facts of the story nor doing the true reporting of a reporter should do.

Readers, we are entitled to the full story of the news and not just the good or bad side of the story. So, let us take the writer of the article that wrote the article I read - Hector G. Hector did an article and the story was pretty okay. I am not going to reiterate, quote, what he wrote so I will not give you readers a bias view. However, that is not going to matter since you will read this blog first before reading the article first, if at all. If you do, please go to the link for rocky mountain news and then in the search field type in "dogs stolen" and then you should get choices to choose from.

The news (Channel 31) and Rocky Mountain News reported that the dogs were "Stolen" along with truck that warming up in the cold morning of January outside the Ramada Plaza where Jim and Patti Chant were staying in town for the National Western Stock Show, per Hector Gutierrez article.

First of all, we readers are entitled to the truth of this story. Jim & Patti Chant's truck was stolen, along with the dogs in the back(bed) of the truck. Nothing I read was indicated that if the dog's kennels were covered with a tarp or if the kennels were in full view. I do not know. The article reported that the Chant's were warming up their truck outside their hotel room.

Readers, this is where I am going to jump from point to point since I have no clear line of thinking of how to incorporate my thoughts smoothly.

I lied readers - here is quote that starts off my thoughts - "They treasured the collies like children" in Hector's article. If this is the case. Why did they leave the "children" in the cold with the truck's exhaust fuming into the back of the truck? Do we readers leave our children, if we have children, in the car while it is warming up? No! First, in this day of age, leaving children in the car will get you in trouble with the law. Two, it is just wrong to leave children in the car. Yes, carbon monoxide will be inhaled. I know not of how much or how deadly - regarding Carbon monoxide poisoning is happening, but yes it is happening and not healthy at all. Was the wind blowing that morning? If not, then the exhaust was going directly into the back of the truck. If the wind was blowing-which way? How long was the truck warming up before the truck was stolen? I do not know. I am not going to check the almanac of the weather that day, but I imagine that the truck was warming up for five minutes plus. Does this matter? Again, I am not sure, but I am pointing out this thought for you readers. The Hotel - did the four dogs stay in the hotel room with the Chant's? If so, was that okay or against the Hotel policy regarding pets in the room. I do not know since I have not stayed at a Ramada Hotel that I can remember. If the dogs were not in the hotel room with them - then where were the dogs? Did the Chant's leave them in the truck? I am betting the night was very, very cold since the Chant's were warming up the truck. If the dogs did stay in the back of the truck was there a tarp covering the two kennels? I understand that the Chant's are from Wyoming. It is common sense not to leave a vehicle running unattended in any city. Or a "big" city. The Chant's may live in a town or not a town at all, but I am sure they know, sure as shit, when going to any "city" they must take extra care since "big" city is definitely different from living in a town or not. In closing, going back to the quote that started this paragraph "they treasured the collies like children" If the dogs were in the Hotel room, should they have loaded the four dogs last since that is something all parents would do? Why did they load them first? Because that was convenient for them? I do not know.

You see readers - it comes down to the truck was stolen and not the dogs. Do not make a bigger, sad story of someones neglect. Yes - neglect! So, when I heard/read this story on the news back in January my thoughts were not feeling for this couple's loss of the dogs. It was how the dogs were "stolen" from them. I kind of feel good about writing this out and perhaps I may send a copy of this blog to Hector Gutierrez unless you readers do it first. hah hah.

Oh, sorry readers I forgot about the outcome of the news - the "stolen" dogs were recovered along with the truck.

until the next time readers

Respect in Englewood

Greetings People

Respect was recognized this evening. As I left work this evening I decided to visit my Chick-fil-A and get my gallon of Sweet Tea. I was not even in the door when I saw "my man", already getting my gallon of Sweet Tea for me. At the register was a young teenager girl looking at me and "the man" completing my order. Respect, my friends. As I mentioned in a previous blog some time ago - one hand washes the other and well respect was recognized today and that has entirely made my day. The young girl was speechless, but never-the-less she smiled as her manager completed my order with any orders given. When all was said and done and he completed my order I said "Thank you very, very much sir" and thank you to the young girl even though she did nothing except give me my change. I think subconsciously I wanted attention tonight for the so-so day I had and I made an excuse to stop by and visit since I have not visited Chick-fil-A since December. That was not due to me being lazy, but because of all the snow and ice and yes even the cold that has transpired in the past three months. Readers, I hope that I do not sound rude, but I wanted some attention and this was the way, only way, that I thought I could get the "respect" I craved quickly. I guess the other thing was that at least I avoided any opportunity for me to get "worked up" in order to get myself "pleased" Strange I should operate that way, but that is one of my faults I do not recognize as "bad", but "good" for me.

As you surmised readers, I am getting my smile back thinking about him getting my order without even asking. We quickly asked how each other was doing and how our winter went.

Well, I broke the 500 song mark on my Pink Ipod last night. Pretty amazing feat and I think that I am down to 1.58 GB of space left. I was up late last night loading more songs onto my Pink Ipod.

Speaking of which, on Monday I brought my Pink Ipod to work and was hiding the Ipod underneath my keyboard or I would lay a piece of paper on top of the Ipod so no one could see. Well, that went out the door this morning. Today I let my Pink Ipod be left out in the open on my desk. I was comfortable with letting anyone see. After all it is only a color. Yet, more importantly I think my confidence and getting back into training has starting something in me that indicates I am ready to tackle the world. I have more important things to care about and the color is something very superficial to worry about. Although, it is a great starter to a conversation. Depending on your view =). Hold on Readers! I am not going to cross the line and join the same team as me. Oh no! Still straight as an arrow and love the color blue. I think that I heard that "Pink is the new Black" once. Whatever.

New SouthPark in a little more than 24 hours. Woo Hoo!

The last thing, I think. Prison Break - I was laughing so hard last night that I could not breathe. It was the previews for the next episode of Prison Break in two weeks. It appears that Teddy, with a fisherman's hat on, is in a cab at the airport and he is wrestling through the left back window of the cab with Sucre on the outside of the cab and yells "andele!" and then not a second later Teddy leans and looks toward the cab driver, while still wrestling with Sucre and says louder "Andele!". Hah hah. That is Teddy to a T. Not a panicked looked, but a Teddy look. The other scene in Prison Break was when Sarah was hiding under the bed in the hotel. She hears the door click, leading to believe that Agent Mahone has left. Get the fuck out of here! This is a classic horror movie plot. The girl goes swimming, the guy goes to the bathroom, or someone goes for a beer and says "I'll be right back" I had to laugh at this - only a white girl (no disrespect to white people) would think that everything is okay, when it is NOT. Messed up! I told my black co-worker today and we just laughed until tears were rolling down her face and my side was hurting from trying not to laugh out loud. Just too funny. She pointed out the hotel maid and how Mahone flashed his badge in one hand while his gun was in the other hand and she just casually hands the key out of her pocket to him then casually rolls her cart out of the scene as if she was going to the next room to clean. Which leads to the key? A physical Key? This is a fancy hotel (come on folks a 10 story hotel) would have a card reader/hotel key cards. There would not be a physical key. Sorry readers. True Shit. Yet, I realize this is a show and yes I will still watch. But, I will still look for the unusual things that do not "work" for me. =)

Alright, I think that I have nothing else to say

482 Songs Later

Greetings People

Well, I am not sure where to begin. The weekend was so-so for me. Nothing was planned and I have sort of made some time for myself to "play" with my new "Pink" I-pod. As the title of the blog starts I have loaded 482 songs onto my Ipod. Not too tough to do.

So, while I was self-teaching myself on how to operate I-tunes, I start to think about the other blogs that I have stumbled onto in the past on www.blogger.com. I have some good things, some bad things, and then the "sad" stories.

One particular story crossed my mine, however I can not quote the blog since I do not remember the blog address, but basically her Ipod was sitting on the kitchen table and then she knocked off the I-pod from the table. I guess you readers know the outcome. The Ipod was shattered into a few pieces and was destroyed beyond repair. Oh she cried and cried and sobbed and thought her life was over. Oh woe is me - get the fuck out of here with that sort of feeling towards your Ipod. Yes, I felt bad for her. However.

It think back to the many pairs of Oakley M Frames lens that I have lost and destroyed in the past 10 years. I never did cry over the Oakleys, but sure as shit I was pissed. What else can you do nothing. As one of my old bosses would say "Sucks to be you". I whole-hearted agree with that statement. It was 90 percent of my time that I lost/destroyed my Oakleys. Well.... if you want to get technically, sure I crashed on my bike and blamed the gravel for my accident. But, again to be technical, it would be my fault for not seeing the gravel in the first place hence averting the accidental crash that destroyed my Oakleys. So readers 100% of the time it is your own fault. I know it sucks, but you need to be responsible and take responsibility for the real truth.

I am not going to say, or stated, that it is her fault for destroying the I-pod, but it is her fault for not paying attention in the first place. If this Ipod was something she treasured then she should not of have left the I-pod on the table (where on the table I know not) in the first place.

So, further on... Readers this is where I thought about what I was thinking about this weekend... she said she lost a $ 10,000.00 dollar I-pod. What? Yes, that is correct. This homemaker (from the blog I surmised) became a math statistician and started to calculate the songs at x dollars and how many there were. I do not remember how she figured out the adjusted cost of the destroyed Ipod, but she came up with an exact figure. I think she even figured time spent loading her Ipod and came to so many wasted hours loading her I-pod.

Sorry readers, but I can not see how that she lost that much money. Did she buy $10,000 worth of songs and downloaded to her I-pod? I think not. I did not download any songs this weekend, but loaded up from my personal music library. So, there are 482 songs on my Pink I-pod. Does that mean my Pink I-pod is worth more than what I paid for it? Am I going to "adjust" my cost of my Pink I-pod? No. Yes, I paid for the songs in the past, but I can not remember how much I did pay for initially, unless there was a price sticker. Can I become an MIT graduate and say "yes there were 482 songs. Times that by $1.00 each and add the "special" price I paid for my Pink Ipod and the total of my Pink I-pod is $ 582.00 dollars now." No, that is wrong. My Pink I-pod did not gain .01 cent in value. However, the value of my Pink Ipod has decreased due to usage.

What? If I downloaded a song (from I-tunes) then I would have invested one dollar into my Pink Ipod. No. That would be like me taping a show from the T.V. onto a blank tape. Do I divide the number of shows by the supposed retail price and then get the value of the show I just taped onto the blank tape? No, the price of the tape is still the same (12.99 for 12 VCR blank tapes) or 1.08 per tape. Even though I recorded the show from the T.V. Or like my DVD spindle of 100. I bought 100 for 22.99. Basically, the breakdown per blank DVD is .2299 cents. Anything that I load (write/burn) onto that DVD does not become worth more. Well, sentimental value perhaps, but not in monetary value.

That was the one of many thoughts about my Pink Ipod that had came across my mind yesterday. Unfortunately, this was the very first thought about the Ipod. The only increase invested in my Pink Ipod was about 10 hours loading onto Ipod. Not to mention the thinking I took to choose the right type of loading to put onto my Pink Ipod. Yes, there is a lot of room on my pink Ipod, but from 4GB I am down to 1.92 GB left

Enough said on this.

Saturday was the end of the 31 days of Oscar. What a good selection this year. I even got to watch a lot more than I thought I was going to be able to. I ended with Crimson Tide on Saturday night. On Friday night was the movie Awakenings with Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams. I forgot about this movie, since I am not a Robin Williams fans. I forgot that he did not play himself (his typical "funny" one liner persona) at all. Robert DeNiro was good playing his role. A very dramatic movie that I am glad I was able to see once more.

No running events this past weekend, I do have the runnin' of the Green 7k this weekend though. The time will not be good for me, but I hope it is not too bad.

My new I-pod and its PINK!

Greetings People

So, these are the final days of the 31 days of Oscar on TCM. Last night I saw a few movies that I have seen before - Four Weddings and Funeral, RainMan, and Diner. All are good movies and definitely from the past. Can you believe that RainMan came out 20 years ago?

Granted, my views on Tom Cruise has changed since he "flipped" out on the Oprah show and had "words" with Matt Lauer on the Today show. I have not seen any movies of his since then. Nor do I have any inkling to. Though I would of like to seen MI:3 and War of the Worlds (since Steven Spielberg was attached to the movie)

Tom Cruise was okay in the movie, but Dustin Hoffman pulled the role off very good and the roles of both them was not believable in theory, until you actually watched the movie. The music score by Hans Zimmer was what made the movie. Ever since then I have been listening to Hans Zimmer's scores. The best score for him to have done - Thelma & Louise.

Getting back to Rainman. I actually got to go to the train station at the end of the movie where Charlie is saying goodbye to Raymond. This was back in 1996 that I had come across the train station on my 3 stop ticket in Zone 4 of Amtrak. Readers, that is story and a half. Perhaps I will let you on this part of my life, but I have written about this event and I even have pictures and video of this part of my life and waiting for the time to publish. I even have pictures of the train station in Rainman. I will see if I can get the photo scanned and posted here.

I knew of Dustin, but I did not really know Dustin until his performance. Since then, I have seen Kramer vs. Kramer, the Graduate, Midnight Cowboy(?), and Marathon Man. Wow. wow. wow. Of course he has had his fair share of clunkers. And the other movie which I love of his - Papplion

Other than that - the ipod. Oh readers, readers, readers. What can I say. If you have the opportunity to buy an ipod for half price, never used - you would buy it right?! nothing is wrong with the ipod - they just changed their mind at the last second. Well, here is the kicker - it is the color pink. Well, not pink, but "hot" pink if the light catches the ipod just right. Which is probably about all the time. LOL. Oh well. I am going to buy an ipod protector and that definitely will not be pink. It is too bad about the color, but I am sorry readers half price - I could not resist. I have an I-pod! Woo Hoo! 4G. It is so cool. The only other positive thing about the pink is that it matches my T-Mobile bike jersey (pink also). How fucked up is that?! hah hah

Oh, oh, oh, New Southpark starts in less than a week. March 7, 2007. I am so excited, as usual.

Welcome to the month of Spring

Greetings People

Welcome to the third month of the year. I can almost smell spring and see myself back on the roads riding down the miles.

I am now the proud owner of an I-pod. Yes, it did take long enough, but oh well.

We got some snow over the past 24 hours and the weather played havoc on the commuters last night. The roads turned into sheets of ice.

Sorry readers, nothing really to blog about today. An off-day so I will have to make up for it tomorrow.

31 days of Oscar - was watching Chinatown - I have seen before, but forgot how and what it was about. Good movie.
